Career counselling session organised

JAMMU, Sept 18: With an objective to provide proper guidance to the senior students of the Rich Harvest School, a two hour career counselling cum guidance session was organized, here today.
The session was conducted by a dynamic and experienced speaker and career mentor Varun Vohra, an MBA graduate and Director of organization MINDGROOM virtually.
The program aimed at giving proper direction to the students of classes X to XII where they were engaged in an exercise of exploring the emerging career avenues along with available choices of education in the future. Holistic view of possible career routes and job opportunities in various upcoming new age career options were induced.
Vohra emphasized that exploration of career is utmost important and took everyone through a paradigm shift on the subject of choice in today’s time. He introduced students to various emerging streams as Instructors; Defence as well as other management/ organization based, creative and various other unconventional career options.
He also clarified common misconceptions associated with choosing streams and careers and emphasized on ‘WHY NOT’ to choose certain career options.
The resource person had a healthy interaction with the students while answering their queries.
