HIRANAGAR, Aug 25: Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti (BSS) J&K organized its 30th State Sports Meet in the disciplines of Kho-Kho, Yoga, Kabaddi, Judo, Badminton, Chess, Carrom, Speedball and Volleyball in Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School, here today.
20 teams of Udhampur, Reasi, Billawar, Hiranagar, Dashmesh Nagar and Jammu zone participated in the tournament. The programme was inaugurated by Bishan Singh, CEO Kathua in the presence of Ram Lal Sharma, Senior Vice President of BSS J&K, Pradip Kumar, Prant Sangathan Mantri BSS J&K, Samir Krishan Saproo Office Secretary, Pradip Tripathi Prant Zila Nirikshak, Satish Mittal, Treasurer BSS J&K, Kuldip Raj Prant Pramukh Khelkud, and Prant Samiti Members namely Dr Naresh Sharma, Dr Vivek, besides Bhagwan Dass Sharma ZEO, Yograj Sharma ZPEO Hiranagar, Subash Verma, retired Assistant Director E & F’s Department.
Earlier, Jagdev Singh, Principal BVM Hiranagar presented the welcome address.
Pradip Kumar, Sangathan Mantri presented the report of activities of Vidya Bharti Schools in J&K and said that Vidya Bharti Is running 36 Recognized Schools in Jammu & Ladakh Province of J&K in which 9000 students are studying under the guidance of 500 teachers working this missionary zeal.
Chief guest CEO Kathua, Bishen Singh appreciated Vidya Bharti Jammu Kashmir for its contribution in the field of education.
Sameer K Saproo and Raj Kumar conducted the proceedings of the programme, while the programme ended with Vande Matram.
