SAMBA, Jan 27: The team of Border Security Force (BSF) won the Volleyball Tourney by defeating its rival team Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) in the final match .
The 2-day Tournament was organized by Sahyog Committee Industrial Complex, Bari Brahamana. A total of 12 teams from the district participated in the Tournament.
The final match of the Tournament, played between BSF and JKP teams, was won by BSF team by 3-0.
BJP MLA from Samba, Chander Prakash Ganga, who was the chief guest on the occasion awarded trophies to winner and runner-up teams. Besides, a cash prize of Rs 11000 was awarded to the winning team while Rs 8100 was awarded to the runner-up team.
The president of the Sahyog Committee, Dharm Pal along with other committee members was also present on the occasion.
