JAMMU, Oct 21: BSF Primary School Paloura blossomed in the Jammu District Judo Championship, organized by J&K Judo Association under the aegis of J&K Sports Council & J&K Olympic Association at MA Stadium, here.
The event was held under the chairmanship of Vikas Gupta, general secretary J&K Judo Association.
About 400 Judokas from different schools participated in the Championship.
Sat Sharma, MLA Jammu West was the chief guest on the closing ceremony, who distributed prizes among the winners on the occasion.
Prominent among other present on the occasion were Ravi Singh, Varinder Dogra, Rohit Gupta, Shiv Kumar, Suraj Sharma, Rohit Sadhotra, Rajiv Sharma and Munish Chatwal. Bouts are officiated by Suraj Bhan Singh, Arshi Nad, Vikas Dogra and Ritika Slathia.
In Sub-Junior Kids boys Under-6 years 18 kg, 1st Lakshay Jamwal, 2nd Chetan Verma, 3rd Dhruv Bhagat and Himanshu Sharma; 20 kg, 1st Hitesh, 2nd Daksh and 3rd Kanav and Sarthak; 23 kg, 1st Ridhim, 2nd Archit and 3rd Anshul and Jaideep; 25 kg, 1st Rudra Pratap, 2nd Gourav Singh and 3rd Atharva and Nitya; 30 kg, 1st Arihaant, 2nd Ritesh and 3rd Sumit and Ayush; 35 kg, 1st Harsh Verdan, 2nd Dhruv and 3rd Prathen and Pradyumn and in +35 kg, 1st Aarsh, 2nd Nityam and 3rd Amrit and Krish.
