JAMMU, Sept 9: An Inter School Athletic meet was organized by District Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at M.A. Stadium, recently.
BSF School proved its merit by winning 15 gold, 24 silver and 10 bronze medals in various events.
Winners were felicitated within the special morning assembly in the School premises today.
Amarjeet Singh (PET) and Veer Ji Pandita have imparted training to the students.
Stuti-400 meters, Gulshan – 400 meters, 600 meters, 4 X 100 relay. Satwik Jamwal – 4 X 100 relay, Nikhil – 4 X 100 relays and Vipin – 4 X 100 relay in U – 14 won gold.
Divya Thakur – Discuss in U – 17 and Sakshi – 400 meters and 4 X 100 relay, Priya – 4 X 400 relay, Javed Khan – 1500 meters, Musrat Nazir – Shotput brought laurels to the School by winning gold medals in U – 19 categories.
Ruchi Behl, Officiating Principal BSF School lauded the efforts of the students for this achievement.
