BSF Kashmir, Jammu West, Jammu Cantonment blank opponents

JAMMU, Mar 24: BSF Kashmir, Jammu West and Jammu Cantonment Football Clubs blanked their rivals to advance in the ongoing State Hockey Championship 2017, being organized by Hockey J&K at KK Hakhu Astroturf Hockey Stadium, here.
The Championship is being sponsored by J&K State Sports Council.
In the first match played today, BSF defeated District Anantnag by five goals to nil (5-0). While in the second match, Jammu West thrashed District Budgam by six goals to nil (6-0) and in the last match played today, Jammu Cantonment defeated District Srinagar by three goals to nil (3-0).
Manmohan Pal Singh, Syeed Tawheed and Vijay Tandon were the chief guests in the three matches held today.
The matches were officiated by MS Reen, Satvir Singh, Iqbal Singh, Karanjeet Singh, MS Senapati, Matinder Pal Singh, Jagjeet Singh and Vijay Vaid.
In tomorrow’s fixture, BSF Kashmir will take on Jammu West at 9 am, District Baramulla will lock horns with J&K Police at 10:30 am, District Samba will take on District Udhampur at 12 noon and Jammu Rural will face Jammu Cantonment at 3:30 pm.
