Border CC crushes Hr Secondary XI by 173 runs

SAMBA, May 25: Riding on magnificent 60 runs by Rahul, Border Cricket Club Vijaypur crushed Higher Secondary Cricket Club by a huge margin of 173 runs in a one-sided contest of the ongoing JKCA Premier Cricket Championship, being played at Pandit Prem Nath Dogra ground, Smailpur, here.
Batting first, Border CC scored a big total of 215 runs in 20 overs, losing 8 wickets in the process. Rahul (60) and Harsh (41) were the main contributors.
In reply, Hr Sec XI bundled out for a paltry total of 42 runs in 10 overs to lose the match by 173 runs.
Ishant (11) was the only batsman to cross double figure mark.
Meanwhile, at District Police Line Ground, Rajouri, Kotranka Cricket Club defeated Championship Cricket Club by 3 wickets in the ongoing JKCA Premier Cricket Championship.
Championship Cricket Club scored 159 runs in 26.1 overs. Parshotam top scored with 51 runs, while Bharat Bhushan and Vivek Sharma contributed 37 and 21 runs to the total respectively. For Kotranka Club, Lovish Jamwal took 4 important wickets, while Rahul Kumar and Parveen Kumar claimed 3 nd 2 wickets respectively.
In reply, Kotranka Cricket Club scored the required runs in 25 overs by losing 7 wickets to win the match by 3 wickets. Ayush Jamwal and Sanjeev Kumar scored 25 and 24 runs to the total respectively. Rakesh took 3 wickets, while Vivek and Sachdev Singh bagged 2 wickets each.
