BLSKS presents 246th musical play ‘Poshan Se Roshan’

JAMMU, Feb 2: To promote the Traditional folk culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan performed it’s 246th Saturday series musical play ‘Poshan Se Roshan’ today in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production & National College of Computer Education at open air theatre Durga Bhawan, Disco Morh, Janipur, here today.
The Musical play was written, produced and directed by ML Dogra, former Regional Director, Song and Drama Division Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
The artist & students of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sanasthan sang different patriotic songs and dances were also presented.
The program was inaugurated by chief guest JK Koul (Bezan), Chief Patron J&K Bhoomi Human Welfare Society, while VK Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India, Dr Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K and Dr Anju Dogra were the guests of honour.
Earlier, ML Dogra, Chairman, BLSKS presented welcome address and said that ‘Poshan Abhiyan’ was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan in March 2018.
He threw light on the significance of the programme.
MC Kotwal, General Secretary BLSKS said that Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sanasthan presented every year more than 200 musical plays cum awareness cultural shows to promote the culture of India.
The singers, musician, actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the musical play were M.C.Kotwal, J.K.Koul (Bezan), Rajni Gupta, Kuldeep Raj Sangral, Sanjeev Kumar Sodhi, Mohd. Afroz, Chahat Chadha, Mukesh Kumar, Darshan Rajwal, and many others presented the enthralled performance at last of the programe Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the programme.
