Inter-Panchayat/Block Level Tournaments
*AFCC scripts narrow win over Saffron Club in Cricket

JAMMU, Jan 10: Trouncing their rivals convincingly in their respective semifinals, Block Domana and Block Bhalwal have sealed berth in the finals and will lock horns against each other in the summit clash of the ongoing Inter-Panchayat/Block Level Tourna-ments in the disciplines of Football and Cricket, here.
The Tournaments are being organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, under the patronage of Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman, Director General Youth Services and Sports, J&K.
Earlier, in the first semifinal, Domana defeated Bishnah via tie-breaker by four goals to three (4-3). From Domana, Jatin, Arun, Pranav and Nitin were the goal scorers, while Anuj, Rajvir and Farhan netted the goals for Block Bishnah.
In another semifinal, Block Bhalwal got the better of Block Marh by three goals to two (3-2) via tie-breaker. Ritish, Satvik and Aryan scored one goal each from Block Bhalwal, while Ankit and Tushar scored the goals for Marh Block.
Meanwhile, in Cricket Tournament, All Friends Cricket Club (AFCC) registered a narrow win over Saffron Cricket Club by 1 wicket.
Batting first, Saffron Cricket Club scored 107 runs, while in reply, All Friends Cricket Club reached the target by losing 9 wickets to win the match by one wicket. Rakesh top scored with 25 runs while Piyush contributed 21 runs to the total.
The Tournaments are being held under the supervision of Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu.
The matches in both the events are being officiated by a panel of experts in Football and Cricket.
