AKHNOOR, Dec 22: Bishno High School, Jad celebrated the annual day function with great pomp and show, here today.
On the occasion, Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control, Sham Lal Sharma, who was the chief guest called for promoting moral education in all Government and private educational institutions to protect age old moral ethics and rich cultural heritage of the country.
He said “moral ethos are eroding constantly due to heavy influence of western culture in our society and need of the hour is to revive our age old traditions to save the Indian civilization, which is the unique identification and strength of our nation.
Appreciating the Bishno High School management for promoting the co-curricular activities among the students, the Minister said that these activities help the students to compete in different plate forms. He lauded the scintillating performance of the students which compelled the jam packed audience to cheer with applaud.
The Minister distributed prizes amongst the students who excelled in academic and co-curricular activities.
Principal of School, Madan Choudhary highlighted the achievements of the school. He expressed his gratitude to the chief guest and parents for gracing the occasion.
Sarpanchs, Panchs, parents and large number of local people were present on the occasion.
