REASI, Oct 21: Outplaying their rivals convincingly in their respective matches, Bhawani Cricket Club (Bhawani CC) and Hindustan Cricket Club (Hindustan CC) entered semi-final in the ongoing Police Martyr Memorial T20 Cricket tournament played at General Zorawar Singh Sports Stadium, here today.
In first quarter-final match, Bhawani CC Katra trounced the Tiger CC by 6 wickets. Batting first, Tiger CC made 84 runs while the opponent team achieved the target by losing only 4 wickets and registered the win over Bhawani CC whereas in another match, Hindustan CC won the match by 6 wickets from Tariq CC Reasi. Tariq CC batting first scored 109 runs in stipulated 20 overs.
Anoop of Bhawani CC and Sarabjeet of Hindustan CC were awarded with Man of the Match for their outstanding performances with bat by Surjeet Kumar Bhagat, Addl. SP Reasi, Liaquat Khan, District Fund Officer and Mumtaz Ali Bhatti, Dy SP DAR DPL.
The tournament is being organized by District Police Reasi under the supervision of SSP, Rashmi Wazir. The final match of the tournament will be played on October 23.
