SAMBA, Oct 7: In a special morning assembly, Bhargava Public School, Samba organized an Investiture Ceremony, wherein the newly elected and selected members of the school were officially vested with their powers and positions, here today.
54 students of the School were appointed to various positions of responsibility for the academic year 2013-14.
The appointments included School Captain, School Head Girl, School Head Boy and School Sports Captain, School discipline Captain, School Literary Captain, House Captains and House Prefects.
Sanjay Bhatti was appointed as School Captain, Nancy and Shubham Singh were appointed School Head Girl and School Head Boy respectively. Ankit Sambyal was elected School Sports Captain, while Rajat Langeh as Discipline Captain of the School and the position of School Literary Captain went to Arundati.
The oath of office was administered by the School Captain of the school. After the distribution of sash and badges to the new appointments, the Principal of the school, Viveak Arora advised them to carry out their responsibilities with commitment and sincerity and also expected that these young leaders will uphold the values of the school and keep ‘Bhargava Public School’s flag flying high while discharging their duties honestly and impartially.
The Chairman of the school, Prakash Sharma, Ex MLA and the Director, Rajesh Sharma showered blessings on the School Council.
The ceremony came to the conclusion with the singing of the school song by the school choir group.
