UDHAMPUR, Nov 21: Inter School symposium was organized by Bharat Scouts & Guides at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir high school, here today.
ID Soni, State Commissioner Bharat Scouts & Guides was the chief guest on the occasion.
The programme was started with lighting of lamp by chief guest and the other dignitaries.
The topics of symposium were “Role of S&G to bring peace and harmony in the country and the world”; “Why do we need Swachh Bharat?”; “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” and “Corruption free India possible”.
In this competition, 100 students from different schools like BVM H/S Udhampur, Prashant Public School, Common Public School, Ever Green Model Academy School, Happy Model Hr Secondary School and Amandeep Public High School Jakhani.
The programme was held under the supervision of Renu Sharma and Scout Master Jiwan Singh. The winner of this competition were Scouts Rishav (BVM H/S) 1st, Ishtayaq Ahmed (Prashant Public School) 2nd and Akarshan Mehra (Happy Model Hr. Sec School), 3rd.
The winners in Guides were Riffat (Ever Green Model Academy), 1st; Kaja Bharti (Prashant Public School Udh), 2nd and Himanshi Sharma (Common Public School Udhampur), 3rd. The judgement was done by Bansi Lal Gupta (Retired Field Publicity Officer).
