Bharat Priye urges youth to embrace sports, reject drugs

JAMMU, Apr 16: Bharat Priye encouraged youth to adopt sports as a positive path while attending the Under-14 Cricket Tournament final at Garkhal in Akhnoor Sub-Division. The match concluded on an exciting note with Sua No 1 defeating Bhalwal Bharth in a closely contested final, drawing a large gathering of spectators.
Priye felicitated the winning and runner-up teams and honoured outstanding performers, including the Man of the Match and Man of the Series awardees. He stressed the need to organise more sports events at the grassroots level to keep youth engaged in meaningful activities and away from drug abuse and other social evils.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Nath, Sumandeep, Dalbir Singh, Natha Singh, and Sohan Singh, along with several respected members of the area, who appreciated the initiative and extended their support for promoting sports culture at the grassroot level.
