JAMMU, Jan 5: Bharat Darshan Tour consisting of 40 students of remote areas of Jammu region alongwith a teacher met Anandiben Patel,Chief Minister of Gujarat.
Children were very happy during the long interaction with the Chief Minister.
Children also visited many tourist places in Ahmadabad like Science City, Akshardham Temple and Sabarmati Ashram etc.
The student attended a one week National Integration Camp in Rajkot from December 27,2015 to January 3,2016.
The Camp was addressed by many world famous intellectuals who touched the various subjects for the benefits of the children.
Surya Narayanan, Deputy Project Director ISRO spoke on the topic ‘How Satellites works’, Lt Gen (retd) Surendra Kulkarni, Principal Mayo College Ajmer spoke on ‘Nelson Mandela’, Rear Admiral SN Ghorwade NSM on ‘Indian Navy’, Mukherjee on ‘India and Indians’, Lt Gen (retd) Ata Husnain on ‘Service in Indian Army’, Maj Gen (retd) G D Bakshi on ‘Human Values’, Dr KK Chakravarty on ‘Experience Sharing’, Dr Anupama from Indian Institute of Astro-Pysics on ‘Comets Planets’, P C Haldar(retd) IB chief on ‘National Security’, Lt General (retd) PC Katoch on ‘Fighting Militancy’, Actor Mukesh Khanna of Shaktiman and Mahabharata on ‘Good Habits’, Dr Gururaj Karjagi from Academy for Creative Teaching on ‘Creative Teaching’ and Lt General RK Mehta on ‘Good Habits’.
