JAMMU, Dec 19: Bethel Trust football XI and Spring Dales Football XI registered emphatic wins against their opponents and enters in the final in the ongoing “4th Christmas Soccer Championship for college students and JK Footballers”, which is being played at Science College Football Ground here today.
Dr. Raj Mahajan from Treat well Centre Jammu was the chief guest in today’s match who was introduced with the participating players before the start. He conveyed his best wishes to the teams and also greeted the organizing team of Christian Sports Organization for conducting soccer championship for youths and college students on the occasion of Christmas. Another present on the occasion are Krishan Lal, Anikait, Dr.Anuj Mahajan, Rajesh Sumbria (former International football Player) .
Today, the Semi-final match between Bethel Trust Football XI and Science Football club was played in which Bethel Trust Football team registered empathetic win with 2-1 goals. From Bethel trust Adonis scored goal in 40th minute and Arun scored second goal in 50th goal but from Science College team Sunil was the player who scored goal in 2nd minute.
Another Semi final match was played between Spring Dales FC and Jammu University FC in which Spring Dales FC registered great win against Srinagar FC by 3-1 goals. From Spring Dales FC Rahul scored first and Second goals in 4th and 14th minute whereas the third goal scored in 20th minute and but from Jammu University Football team Gagandeep was the player who scored only goal in 55th minute.
The referees of the match were Harneel Singh, Altaf Ahmad, Ranjay Kumar, Mohinder and Kamal.
The tournament is being organized by Christian Sports Organization and Jammu and Kashmir Police Department. The Organizing Committee members includes Rajesh Gill, Victor Sotra, Asif Gill,David Mattoo, Rajesh Dhar, RP Singh, Sunny Gill, Nitu Khokher, Sunil Sambyal, Sandeep Manchanda and Raju.
