JAMMU, Jan 10: Batsmen once again failed to impress as Jammu and Kashmir suffered a humiliating defeat against formidable Jharkhand in the Ranji Trophy Group-C match at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
Resuming their innings from an overnight total of 24/0, J&K collapsed at 120 runs in 49.4 overs And suffered a shocking defeat. Young Rasikh Salam played a cameo of power-packed 40 runs off 25 balls, studded with 4 massive sixes. Shubham Khajuria, Irfan Pathan and Qamran Iqbal 24, 20 and 16 runs respectively. Left-arm spinners Shahbaz Nadeem and Anukul Roy captured 4 and 3 wickets respectively, while Ajay Yadav bagged 2 wickets and Rahul Sharma claimed one.
