Baramulla police organises ‘Chhoona Hai Aasman’

BARAMULLA, Feb 24: “Talent Hunt competition Chhoona Hai Aasman” organized by J&K Police was conducted at Sherwani Hall Baramulla. Artists from across North Kashmir Range who got selected from their respective places participated in the competition whose performance was judged by the eminent artists/jury members including Shafi Sopori, Gh. Mohd Mahir and Showkat Majaz. The competition achieved significance as a number of respectables and eminent personalities from different parts of North Kashmir Range came to attend the function who besides encourag the participants also lauded the role of police in particular while organizing such programmes. Finally those who make their way for the competition at zonal level included Mohd Farhan Khan from  District Kupwara, Haris Bin Riyaz from Bandipora, Arshid Margoo from Bandipora, Tanveer Ahmad Najar from Baramulla, Nazir Ahmad Sheikh from Sopore, Shah Parihan from Bandipora, Ruqia Maqbool from Bandipora and Danishta Nabi from Bandipora. Garib Dass, North DIG presided over the functioning which was also attended by Rajesh Kumar Yadav, DIG (Ops) CRPF NKR, District SSP North Kashmir Range and other senior police and civil officers including representatives of Beopar Mandal Baramulla, persons from print and electronic media. Prizes among the winners and other participants were also distributed.
