Srinagar, Aug 29: The General Council of the Baramulla Cricket Forum (BCF) was today held which was presided over by its president Ghulam-ud-Din Shalla.
On the occasion, BCF had invited all the Managers /Captains of various cricket Clubs/teams to have a thorough discussion on the matters pertaining to the quality of cricket in the District.
“Besides other issues and problems faced by the individual teams/clubs/players were also discussed at length and breadth and resolved amicably on the spot,” a handout issued by the BCF said.
Moreover, BCF said that on the occasion, a joint resolution was passed in presence of 64 Managers/Captains wherein the President BCF along with his team of executives which is the Managing Body as well as Executive Body Members, have been given written consent to continue to run the affairs of BCF for the next two years with an effect from 24/08/2021.
The Managing Body of the Forum has been nodded with the following composition: Ghulam -u-Din Shalla, President, Zubair Ahmad Da, general secretary, Irfan Ahmad Rather, joint secretary, Aqib Manzoor, joint secretary, Sheikh Isfaq Ali, treasurer, Sheikh Faheem, social media in-charge and Mansoor Sherwani as publicity secretary
On the other side Bablu Singh, Ajaz Ahmad Shah, Jahangeer Bakhshi, Asif Rizvi, Aakash Ahmad Najar, Fayaz Ahmad Rather, Naseer Ahmad Khan, Umer Azhar Kakroo, Javid Ahmad Gojree, Tariq Ahmad Kirmani, Yasir Nazir Khan, Nisar Ahmad Najar, Nazir Ahmad Rather, Shahnaz Nazir Bhat and Abid Ahmad War have been named as executive body members.
