Srinagar, Jan 15: Bandipora Premier League (BPL) which was organized by Army’s 14 Rashtriya Rifles concluded here today.
In the tournament total 16 teams from villages around Bandipora and the town participated.
The final of the tournament was played today between Bandipur Cricket Club and Watapura XI in which Bandipur Cricket Club emerged as winner and became Bandipur Champions.
The stadium witnessed large crowd since the morning at picturesque Sher-i -Kashmir Stadium Bandipora.
The Man of match award was given to Umar Mumtaz and the man of the series award to Mudasir Ahmed Dar both from Bandipur Cricket Club.
The prizes were given by Commanding Officer, 14 Rashtriya Rifles in presence of Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora and Senior Superintendent of Police, Bandipora.
