Bali Club outplays Udhampur Club by 22 runs

JAMMU, Apr 18: Bali Cricket Club registered convincing victory over Udhampur Cricket Club in the ongoing 1st Patel Memorial T20 Invitational Cup, which is being played at Parade Cricket Ground here.
The Tournament is being organized by Patel Cricket Club under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Asociation.
The event is being organized under the supervision of Jung Bahadur Singh Jamwal, President Patel Club and Vijay Sharma, Secretary of the Club.
Batting first, Bali Club scored 186 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Nitin (78), Mannu (30) and Asif (13) runs were the main scorers.
From bowling side, Gourav took 2 wickets while Sachin claimed 1 wicket.
In reply, Udhampur Club manage to score 164 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs, thus lost the match by 22 runs. Sunil made 47 runs while Gouvar and Dikshant contributed 45 and 27 runs resepctively.
From bowling side, Rahul took 3 wickets, while Nitin and kuldeep claimed 2 wickets each and Manav bagged 1 wicket. Nitin was adjudged as the man of the match.
Earlier, in under-16 match Sehwag Academy defeated Bhatia Cricket Club by 67 runs.
Batting first, Sehwag Academy scored 147 runs for 2 in 20 overs with Achintiya (68), Dhruv (24) and Arsh (11) being the main scorers.
From bowling side, Arvinder and Rajinder took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Bhatia Club bundled out for 80 runs in 18.3 overs with Micheal (32) and Abhishek (12) being the main contributors. From bowling side, Varinder took 3 wickets, while Arnav and Yuvraj took 2 wickets each and Surinder claimed 1 wicket. Achintaya was declared as the man of the match.
The matches were officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik, Madan Mohan, Amit Gupta, Sandeep Manchanda and Rahul Kumar, while the post match proceedings were conducted by Sohan Bharti.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Khalsa Cricket Club will take on New Challenger Cricket Club at 9.30 am in seniors, while in juniors Stadium XI will take on Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy at 1.30 pm.
