Badminton C’ship from Sept 6

JAMMU, Aug 17: Jammu and Kashmir Badminton Association is organising All J&K Senior and Junior Ranking/ Selection Badminton Championship-2019 from September 6 to 9, 2019 at Badminton Hall, Indoor Sports Complex, MA Stadium, here.
According to a handout issued here, the events to be held include Men/Women Singles; Men/Women Doubles and Mixed Doubles; Under-19 Boys/Girls Singles and Under-19 Boys/Girls Doubles and Mixed Doubles.
The Association has advised the players desirous to take part in the Championship to register their names with Satpal Sharma, Badminton Coach, MA Stadium, Jammu; Vikram Saini, Badminton Coach and Sukhdev Singh, Badminton In-charge, Police Badminton Hall, Jammu.
J&K State Badminton team for North Zone Interstate Badminton Championship to be held at Punchkula, Haryana from September 21 to 24, 2019, will be selected on the basis of the performance of the players in this Championship.
According to the organisers, a good number of players are expected to take part in this Championship.
