JAMMU, May 23: In the final match of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sub Junior Hockey Tournament, organized by Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation group under the aegis of Hockey J&K, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Hockey Club Poonch defeated MRS Hockey Club Simbal Camp by three goals to one (3-1) to lift the title.
Rajesh Gupta, MLA Jammu East and chief whip BJP was the chief guest while Rajeev Sharma (Industrialist) and Parvinder Singh Sudan were the guests of honour.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Dr Taran Singh, Secretary Hockey J&K, SS Bali, TP Singh, PD Singh, Kuldeep Singh, SP Singh, Kuku Ji and GS Bakshi, General Secretary Hockey J&K.
Technical panel comprised of Tejinder Singh, Angad Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Balmeet Singh and Harjeet Singh (T.O).
Chief guest assured the installation of Astroturf soon along with other requisite facilities for upliftment of our national game.
