SAMBA, Aug 26: AVP Higher Secondary School emerged winner in the U-19 Inter School Zonal Level Cricket Competition, organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports, here today at Arazi Stadium.
AVP Higher Secondary School Samba crushed GHSS Sumb by 21 runs and lifted the title trophy.
Earlier, the last match of the competition was played between Shishu Niketan Higher Secondary School and AVP Higher Secondary School Samba, in which latter emerged winner by 5 runs.
The matches were officiated by Anirudh Singh Slathia, Bhopinder Singh, Sandeep Singh, Kulbir Singh, Keshav Dev Singh, Sumant Singh, Naresh Kumar, Raj Kumar, Zorawar Singh Sambyal, Sushma Sambyal, Asha Rani, Shashi Sambyal and Suman Lata.
