Authorities careless in maintaining Mini-Stadium Parade: JWAM

JAMMU, Nov 15: Activists of Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) here today under the leadership of Sunil Dimple, JWAM president staged a protest demonstration and flayed the authorities concerned for being careless in properly maintaining Mini-Stadium Parade.
Addressing protesters Dimple flayed Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and Sports Council authorities for the worst condition of Parade Ground and claimed that negligence of these authorities has led to the collapse of boundary wall of Mini-Stadium Parade three months back.
He appealed to the JMC and Sports Council to immediately construct the boundary wall and improve the condition of Parade Ground.
Dimple said, many events are organised on this important ground situated in the heart of Jammu city but its sanitary condition is miserable and the concerned authorities have turned a blind eye towards this.
The JWAM leader urged upon the Lt Governor, Manoj Sinah to dissolve the JMC as the Corporation is not working properly after the election of JMC Councillors.
He claimed in-fight between Mayor, Commissioner, Councillors and officers in JMC due to which the public is suffering.
S. Harban Singh, Yash Pal Kohli, Manoj Kumar, Subash, Kuldeep Singh, Mohan Lal Sharma, Parul Sharma, Divanshu Kapahi and others were present in the protest.
