JAMMU, Feb 25: Ashoka House defeated Rajnder Prasad House by 35 runs in the Inter-House Hostel T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Physical Director of GGM Science College at Hostel ground, here today.
Earlier, batting first, Ashoka House scored 145 runs in the stipulated 20 overs.
In reply, Rajinder Prasad House managed to score 110 runs, thus lost the match by 35 runs. Pratik Chib was the top scorer with 54 runs.
In another match which was played between, Ambedkar House and Rani Lakshmi Bai House, Ambedkar House won the match by 32 runs after scoring 159 runs. Ved Parkash Singh was declared as man of the match for his brilliant innings of 55 runs and 2 wickets. The score of losing team was 128 runs.
Dr Ajeet Angral, Nodal Principal, GGM Science College, Jammu alongwith Dr Vinod Bakshi, Physical Director and faculty members visited the venue and interacted with the cricketers.
