Aryans organizes Legal Awareness Camp

JAMMU, May 2: Aryans College of Law today organised a Legal Aid and Awareness Camp to spread awareness about the right of vulnerable sections at village Nepra, near Rajpura.
This was an initiative to provide free legal aid to indigent persons as well as awaking them about safety guidelines issued by the Government amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The camp was organized under the leadership of Prof BS Sidhu, Director Aryans Group.
Dr Anshu Kataria, chairman of the Group said that students being a part of this programme were exposed to practical knowledge which is a must for budding lawyers. They assisted advocates during their interaction with the general public which helped them to analyze the case studies to develop a critical thinking about the subject matter.
Sanskriti Rana, faculty, Aryans College of Law, spoke about Article 39A of the Constitution of India which provides for free legal aid to the poor and weaker sections of the society and ensures justice for all.
