Arya Samaj organises competition among school going children

JAMMU, Sept 2: Arya Samaj Trikuta Nagar organized a competition amongst school going children from class 6th to 12th, here.
104 students from different schools of Jammu took part in the competition. The purpose of this competition was to make the coming generation aware of their Vedic Culture, their moral duties towards society and the nation.
The result of the competition was declared in a function held at Arya Samaj Trikuta Nagar Jammu today. Function started with chanting of Gyatri Mantra.
Bharat Bhushan Arya, President presented welcome address.
Arya was very excited while informing the house about the result of the competition.
Out of 104 participants, 40 students were placed in the first rank, 18 in the second, 20 in the third and 30 in the consolation rank.
Senior members of Arya Samaj blessed the students and presented to each of them a participation certificate, a cash prize and a book on life of Maharishi Dayanand Sarswati, the founder of Arya Samaj .
Ravinder Rekhi, Vice President, presented vote of thanks.
The function ended with the chanting of Shanti Path.
