Army School Domana celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Dec 28: Army Public School Domana celebrated its Annual Day with zeal and zest at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu, here today.
Brig D Mukerjee, SM Commander 19 Inf Bde and chairman of the School was the chief guest on the occasion, while Sharmishtha Mukerjee, Chairperson FWO 19 Inf Bde was the guest of honour.
The function started with the lighting of traditional lamp by the chief guest, followed by the presentation of School Annual Report by Dr Renu Gupta, School Principal.
The students attired in colourful costumes presented a beautiful cultural programme full of various enticements which mesmerized the audience. The items included Blossoming Buds on the sub theme ‘Prakriti’, Patriotic Fervour and National Symbols on the sub theme ‘Itihas’, Sculptor and Divine Light of Knowledge on the sub theme ‘Shiksha’, Spectrum of Festivals and Social Ethics on the sub theme ‘Sanskriti’, Vibrance of India, Umanag of Rajasthan, Fusion and Rising Stars of APSD on the sub theme Garima, Army as a Career on the sub theme ‘Gaurav’ and Vision on the sub theme ‘Pragati’.
The academic toppers, best students of the session, blooming stars of the school, best achievers in inter-school competitions and the achievers at the national level were felicitated by the chief guest on the occasion.
The chief guest also released Annual School Magazine ‘Prairna’ on this occasion.
Suresh Koul, PGT English and Senior Coordinator of School presented vote of thanks.
