Army provides sports items to Govt School

Jammu, July 12: The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, based at Samote, distributed the sports items to Govt Middle School, Budhal, under the aegis of Headquarters Counter Insurgency Force (Uniform) as part of ongoing Operation Sadbhavana, today. The aim of the distribution of sport items was to give an impetus to the sports facilities in the life of students hailing from border and far flung areas.
On the occasion, Officiating Commanding Officer of the Battalion handed over the sports items to the Headmaster of Govt Middle School, Budhal in presence of Mohd Yousaf, Head Master, Govt Middle School, Budhal, School Staff, Badardin Malak, Sarpanch, of village Budhal, Mohd Nazir, Sarpanch of village Rajnagar Budhal and Mr Jugnu, representative of JK Channel. The villagers and the School authorities appreciated the efforts of the Army in contributing sports items to the school for overcoming the shortage of sports facilities.
