JAMMU, July 24: In order to convey gratitude and solidarity to Indian Army, Fahad Mir Foundation organized Motor Rally in their support from Jammu to Kargil, which was flagged off from Jammu on July 18, 2017.
20 bikers and 12 cars carrying 75 persons started their journey to Kargil, after night halt in Valley. The Rally was greeted and welcomed in various districts by Districts Authorities.
The bikers headed by Jujraj Singh and the motor cars lead by Vikramjeet Singh Jasrotia reached Drass on July 20, 2017,where Army gave them grand reception after covering 600 kms distance.
Chairperson / Founder of Fahad Mir Foundation said this endeavour aims to eulogize the Army’s comprehensible role in ensuring security of the nation despite facing hostile/harsh conditions and climate.
After welcome Introduction by the founder of FMF, Ruchi Chouhan Khan, the programme begun with the patriotic songs by Sonali Dogra (Famous Voice of Punjab Singer) and Tanya Gupta (Who sang at the Closing Ceremony of Asian Games 2010) followed by presentation on Road Safety.

The programme concluded with oath by FMF team for the welfare of Army, wherein they pledged to help Army persons in public places, offers them seats in buses, trains, public convenience, to provide lift to the Jawan if sported carrying their bags and trunks, never argue with them, always give them pass/ overtake on the Roads & above all this respect them not only by heart but greet them when they are on airport, bus stands Railway Stations in Group
Chairperson /Founder of FMF welcomed the chief guest General Karriyapa who was accompanied by Tasheena Karriyappa and Brigadier Heetesh Bhalla with his wife & other distinguished guests on the occasion and also conveyed that it was her 8 year old dream which she made true after facing great difficulties.
Randeep Hooda, Kailash Kher, Tanya Gupta and Sonali Dogra mesmerized the jawans with their scintillating performances.
Army Jawans enjoyed singing and dancing with Bollywood stars.
General Karriyappa presented mementoes to the Founder Chairperson of FMF and also to the leaders of bikers and driving participants and to the Celebrities. Famous Cartoonist from Jammu also presented the caricatures to Kailash Kher and Randeep Hooda.
