RAJOURI, June 16: To enhance the hidden talent of the youth, Army organised a singing competition “Nowshera Idol” at Butalia auditorium.
On the occasion, Major General VP Singh, General Officiating Commander (GOC), Ace of Spades Division was the chief guest.
During the competition, organised by Nowshera Brigade, the top 10 finalists selected during the pre-qualifying rounds in below 15 years and 16 to 30 years exhibited their skills, which were highly appreciated by the audience.
The top two finalists and the runner up from each categories were awarded with cash prizes by the Convener, Family Welfare Organisation, 25 Infantry Division.
While speaking, Major General complimented the efforts of all those who were involved in this talent search.
He added that such kind of competitions will be organised in future also to enhance the skills of the children.
