JAMMU, Oct 5: With an aim to provide a suitable platform to the youth of the region for developing their sporting skills, Army organised “Shaheed Captain Atul Somra Cricket League-19” at Banihal.
The final match was played between Rising Star Banihal and Young Star Banihal in which Rising Star Banihal emerged victorious.
The enthusiasm of the youth with overwhelming participation in a sporting event strengthens the relationship between Army, Civil Administration & the Awam. The initiative taken by the Army has been very well received and appreciated by the local population.
The Army on its part has assured the local population for continued co-operation in assisting sporting talent and fostering team spirit in the area.
