Army organises Inter School Quiz Competition

RAJOURI, Aug 13: The Indian Army with an aim to foster the spirit of healthy competition within the aspiring students of Rajouri region, organised an Inter School Quiz Competition, here.
A total of 14 schools fielded their candidates in two categories i.e. Seniors (Class XI & XII) and Juniors (Class VIII to X). The event was conducted in two phases wherein the competing schools fielded their candidates for screening test.
The best six teams in each category progressed to the final round at Raina Auditorium, here.
The quiz was conducted in a professional and realistic manner testing all quotients of the participant’s knowledge. The students displayed tremendous grit and talent and ensured a neck to neck competition.
Govt Boys Higher Secondary School emerged victorious in the Senior category with International School finishing as first runners-up and Happy Home Higher Secondary School as the second runners-up.
In Junior category, Army Goodwill Public School bagged the first position followed by Delhi Public School as first runners-up and Happy Home Higher Secondary School as second runners-up.
The event was conducted with the help of Headmistress and teachers of Valley View Army Public School.
