JAMMU, July 17: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, based at Gul, under Uniform Force organised an “Inter School Debate and Quiz Competition” at Gul, today.
The competition was organised to provide a platform for the school going children to showcase their talent, build confidence and enhance knowledge.
Thirty two students from six schools belonging to different age groups and classes, participated in the events.
The topic for the debate was “Agriculture Vs Industrialisation for growth of India”.
During the quiz competition the participants faced a set of 100 different questions from various fields.
The competition was successful in helping the children to further develop the power of expression, quick thinking and enhance their understanding of various issues pertaining to development of the society.
