JAMMU, Sept 23: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion located at Kalal under Uniform Force, distributed furniture and books to Government Middle School, Siyal and Potha (Khui), Government High School, Bhajnowa, Government Higher Secondary School, Seri and Government Girls Middle School, Hanjana, today.
On the occasion, 15 Almirahs alongwith large number of general knowledge and reference books were handed over to the schools authorities.
The aim of the distribution of almirah and books to Government schools was to improve their basic infrastructure and provide decent furniture to keep the books and stationery.
Principals and teachers of the school, children alongwith their parents and Army officials were present during the occasion.
