POONCH, July 12: Army organized a debate competition on the topic ‘Role of Women in Society’ at Government Middle School, Relan in Balakote tehsil, today.
The event was conducted to highlight the need to empower the women so as to provide them with essential skills to be able to earn a living and become more independent. The students took active interest in the debate competition and enthusiastically showcased their talent.
The students and the school authorities expressed their desire for conduct of similar programmes in the future. The winners were also given awards and certificates.
