Archery team leaves for participation in 40th NTPC C’ship

JAMMU, Sept 28: 18 players’ team including eight boys, 10 girls and a paralympian Rakesh Kumar today left for participation in upcoming 4th NTPC Senior (M&W) National Archery Championship which is scheduled to be held at Jamshedpur from October 1 to 10.
The team was flagged off in presence of Ashok Singh, Divisional Sports Officer J&K Sports Council, Satish Gupta, Manager MA Stadium, Sunil Sharma senior vice president and Vikas Gupta joint secretary of the Archery Association of Jammu and Kashmir.
Member of Parliament and president Archery Association of Jammu and Kashmir Jugal Kishore Sharma wished them good luck for the upcoming championship.
Sunana Devi, Munisha Aggarwal, Anu Bharat, Smilee Thappa, Simi Sharma, Usha Devi, Kajal Verma, Meenu Choudhary, Shikha Bhagat Deepashan, Bhawani Singh, Mukesh Sharma, Sangarsh Dev Singh, Amit Thakur, Rakesh Kumar, Pankaj Kumar, Divyansh Suri and Bhawani Jasrotia were part of the team, whereas Kuldeep Rai and Darshna Kumari accompanied the team as coach.
