SAMBA, July 25: Army Public School (APS) Damana Table Tennis Team has kept the spirits of the school high by receiving the coveted winner’s trophy in Inter APS Table Tennis Competition Cluster -1 organized by APS Samba, which concluded here.
The matches were played by eight schools of cluster -1 on a league cum knockout basis, wherein APS Damana team displayed their expert skills winning by 3-0 in all league matches.
In the semifinals, APS Damana defeated APS BD Bari by 3-0, while in the finals, APS Damana clinched the winner trophy, defeating APS Kaluchak by 3-1.
APS Damana team was represented by Akshit Kapoor, Aman Singh, Praret Singh, Keshav Choudhary, Naina Sharma, Shimani Choudhary, Lovishka Rajput and Vanshika Chib under the guidance of Varinder Singh, PGT (PHE).
Brig KK Singh, Chairman APS Damana and Pushpinder Kaur, Principal APS Damana lauded the efforts of the students for this achievement.
They complimented the team to aspire and perspire for the upcoming Command Level Competition.
