APS Damana celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Jan 21: Army Public School Damana celebrated its Annual Day with great fervour and exuberance under the theme ‘Sanskritik Aikikaran’ in the School premises, here today.
The day commenced with a welcome address presented by the students of class V, followed by lighting of a ceremonial lamp. The august gathering included Col Sagar D Rai, SO School, Col Vivekjit Singh, Adm Comdt, Lt Col Mandhar Jadhav, Camp Comdt, Kirti Gupta, Principal Govt Middle School Parwah, Pushpinder Kaur, Principal APS Damana, Shallu Kapoor, Vice-Principal, Parents and Students.
Amidst thunderous applause and chatter, the tiny tots of the primary section made the audience spellbound with a series of cultural events like Dogri Dance, Haryanvi Dance, Rajasthani Dance, Punjabi Folk Dance, Gidda, and Nukkad Natak.
The cultural event was followed by prize distribution to the students who have shown their impeccable efficacy in various sports events at UT and National levels. Besides, the students with augmented magnificence in the field of IT, Music, Sports and Art & Craft were accorded with trophies and certificates of excellence.
Col Sagar D Rai, SO School congratulated the students and staff for organizing such a mesmerizing event. Pushpinder Kaur, Principal APS Damana appreciated the students for bringing the incandescent glory to the Institution attaining the pinnacle of perfection in sports and other co-curricular activities.
The event culminated with a vote of thanks by Master Arpit Khanetra (V), followed by the National Anthem.
