JAMMU, Feb 24: Apple Kids, International Pre School, Gandhi Nagar held its Annual Day function at the auditorium of JK Public School, Kunjwani with zeal and fervour, here today.
Former Minister for Medical Education and Sports, RS Chib was the chief guest on the occasion, while the Management and the Principals of other Schools and Centre Heads of other Apple Kids branches were present on the occasion.
The function started with the lighting of traditional lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana presented by the staff.
The first performance was a group prayer sung by Junior KG students. The second performing group was of pre-nursery class.
The students of pre-nursery presented a fancy dress show and performed on song “Rolly Polly”.
The nursery group also presented a fancy dress with jungle theme and other students presented 5 different States of India, while another group of nursery class performed on the song “Up in the blue sky”.
The students of junior KG class performed on the song “Maine Kaha Phoolon Se” representing the theme to enjoy life, the students of senior KG class performed on song “Noor-E-Khuda” representing the theme of peace and unity.
A special performance was given by the students on a social issue “Save Girl Child”.
The prize distribution ceremony for the graduating class was also held and awards under other categories were also given away to the students.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Chib said that it’s very important to provide quality education to the children of age group 2yrs-5+ so that a strong foundation is built which transforms them into responsible adults.
Later-on, School Principal Jagjeet presented vote of thanks.
