Anuradha Higher Secondary School celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Dec 29: Anuradha Higher Secondary School, Barnai, Jammu celebrated its Annual Day with pomp and show.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Dushyant Sharma was the chief guest while Sohail Kazmi was the guest of honour and K N Singh, Director of the School presided over the function.
The show commenced with lighting of traditional auspicious lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries followed by Saraswati Vandana presented by the students.
The students looked splendorous and colourful, bubbling with energy to encompass everyone in their annual day celebration.
Principal of the School, Suni Lata Pandita read out the Annual Report and highlighted the achievements of the students in the field of academics, sports and co-curricular activities
Students presented a glimpse of various dances depicting ‘Cultural Heritage’ which involved various movements, figures and mesmerizing formations which engrossed the audience to the core.
Anuradha Singh and Director Academics, Monika Singh also graced the occasion. The programme was choreographed and designed by Sunil Uppal and Rajesh Verma.
The chief guest in his speech appreciated the school management for rendering valuable services to the people of Jammu and Kashmir by providing quality education to the youth of the State and enabling them to make successful careers in various walks of life.
The celebrations concluded with presentation of awards to academic toppers and winners of various categories.
