JAMMU, Nov 2: The five day annual sports event organized by All Ladakh Students Welfare Association (LSWA) concluded here today.
Yudhvir Sethi, State Vice President BJP J & K was the chief guest on the occasion while guest of honour was Dr Raza Abass, Deputy Director Sheep Husbandry Jammu . Dr Arjeet Angral , Principal GGM Science College Jammu presided over the function.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Dr Vinod Bakshi , Director Physical Education ,Sonam Paljor, president ALSAJ, Mohd Arief , president SOALJ and senior members of ALSWAJ.
Yudhvir appreciated the organizers and said that sports play a key role in binding this State J &K and added that more and more such events should be organized . He said that Modi Government is very serious in promoting sports all over country, adding that in order to promote sports in state indoor stadiums have been sanctioned in all districts of the State.
During this five day long event various games were held and the winners in various events were; Volleyball; Boys JNV Reunion, Girls Aryan Girls ; Football Boys United Football Club; Cricket Girls JNV; Kho Kho Girls JNV; Badminton singles ; Boys Bashir Ahmed, Girls Rubena Khatoon; Badminton Doubles Bashir Ahmed and Mohd Hassan; Table Tennis Singles Irfan Ali; Doubles Altaf and Fayaz; Tug of War boys balley balley 2, girls Sarwal Ladakh United; 100 meter race Shujat Ali Akchamal.
