Annual Festa ‘Kaleidoscope-22’ held at Stephens

JAMMU, Dec 30: Stephens International Public School and Stephens College of Nursing clubbed together celebrated the Annual Fest- ‘Kaleidoscope-2022’, here today.
Chief guest for the event was Sham Lal Sharma, former Minister, while Chairman Dr Kamal Saini, IGP (Retd.) graced the occasion as a special guest. Director Satvinder Saini, vice chairperson, Amarjeet Singh, trustee, Kunal Saini, Principal (SIPS), Rama Jamwal, Principal of Stephens College of Nursing, Munni Dhar, administrator, Manoj Kotru, Vice-Principal, Dr Kaajal Bhasin and Headmistress Shweta Bakshi were also present.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by Ganesh Vandana to invoke the blessings of the Lord. The chairman in his welcome address emphasized on the importance of quality education, while acclaiming the skilful educators of Stephens Group of Institutes.
The annual report of the session was released and read by the Principal Rama Jamwal. She congratulated all the stakeholders as the School has been ranked no.1 in the Union Territory.
She further stated that the School has been rated No. 1 in parent’s choice in the entire Jammu region in Star Rating Awards by Education Today.
Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, orchestrated by the Music and Dance department, was a celebration in the form of dance extravaganza and musical play. Rajasthani, Gujarati, Tamil, Dogri and Punjabi folk dances were also performed by the students during the event. The hard work and toil of the art and craft department was well reflected vividly through the 3D props displayed on stage.
The meritorious students and outstanding achievers were awarded during the prize distribution ceremony.
The chief guest in his address blessed the star performers with his words of inspiration. He appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers of Stephens Group of Institutions for excellent academic results. Commending the developing infrastructure, the chief guest accentuated that Stephens continues to spread the light of education in this suburban vicinity.
The programme culminated with the vote of thanks by Kunal Saini.
