JAMMU, Jan 10: Asian bronze medallist and national champion Ankush Kohli of Hospitality and Protocol Department, Jammu was honoured for winning gold medal in the Masters Roller Hockey category to become the national champion in the recently concluded 57th National Roller Skating Championship which was held at Vishakhapatnam.
The employees of Hospitality and Protocol Department congratulated Ankush for his outstanding performance and bringing laurels for the department as well as for the Union Territory.
He is the only roller hockey player from the State who became national champion in Juniors, Seniors and now in Masters category.
Ankush has the distinction of participating in more than 25 nationals and represented India in Asian and World championships held at South Korea, England, Taiwan and Macau.
