South Kashmir Police Premier League concludes

ANANTNAG, Nov 12: South Kashmir Police Premier League, organised by J&K Police concluded, here today.
The final match was played between Anantnag Gladiator and Anantnag Super Kings wherein Anantnag Gladiator won the title trophy by four wickets.
Director General of Police, Dilbag Singh was the chief guest of the closing ceremony and interacted with the players and distributed the trophies among winning and runner-up teams.
The DGP while interacting with players emphasised upon the role of youth in development of any society. “J&K Police is committed towards helping the youth of J&K emerged as champions in various walks of life including sports,” he added. The DGP reminded the youth regarding challenges and hardships faced by people of Kashmir during the three decades of terrorism. He appealed the youth to value the most precious asset of mankind i.e. life.
DIG SKR Atul Goel, DC Anantnag, SSP Anantnag and other officers of the district police were also present during the concluding ceremony.
