KATHUA, Dec 13: Amandeep Singh emerged overall winner of ‘One Day Cash Money Chess Championship’ for under-15, organized by District Chess Association, here today.
The 2nd prize was claimed by Shivang Gupta, while Karam Sambyal clinched 3rd place.
In the girls category, Harsheen Kour got 1st place. In the under-10 age category, Paras Sharma bagged 1st position, while Sutishen Bharat got 2nd and Dakas Dev remained 3rd. Devansh Regu won a gold medal in the under-8 category.
Harpreet Singh was chief guest on the occasion, while Sohan Lal Gupta was guest of honor of the championship which was organized at SPIEN Coaching Center, here.
The winners were awarded cash prizes and trophies by the chief guest, while all the participants were given participation certificates.
