SRINAGAR, July 15: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is organizing RBIQ at Srinagar from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm at Government College for Women, Maulana Azad Road, here tomorrow.
With a view to create awareness and interest about the history and role of RBI, about banking, finance, other banking institutions, economics, current affairs, personalities, events that have contributed to the growth and progress of the country over the years. RBIQ will be informative, educational, enjoyable and help build a connect between RBI and the young student community enrolled in schools across the country and achieve extensive dissemination of financial literacy. It will also be an opportunity for recognizing and encouraging bright young students on a national platform.
RBIQ is being held at 44 locations across the country and Srinagar has been chosen as one of the locations. On completion of initial rounds at all the 44 locations, the Zonal Finals for each zone will be held, followed by the National Final wherein two winning teams from each of the Zonal Finals will take part. These two stages of RBIQ will be telecast on a reputed TV channel. The Quiz will be conducted by reputed quizmaster Gautam Bose.
