JAMMU, Aug 3: In the Kashmir Bench-press (Men and Women) Power Lifting Championship organized by J&K Sports Power Lifting Association on Saturday at V-16 Fitness Club Gym, Vishal Nagar, Talab Tillo (Jammu), Ali Raza Malik and Komal Raina were declared as powerman and powerwomen of Kashmir, respectively.
Both the winners were awarded with a cash prize of Rs 50000. The others who participated in the championship were Vishal, Ankush, Tariq, Amit, Ashish, Navjot, Waseem, Lalit, Ajay, Vikas, Sanjay, Shahbaz, Rishikash and Amit.
The team was selected by the association on merit basis in the presence of Rajan Jain, general secretary, Narinder Singh, secretary, Papinder Singh, member and Vinay Sharma, media secretary, for the upcoming Kashmir V/s Jammu Bench-press Power Lifting Championship to be held at BJD Friends Club Paloura on August 9, 2014.
