JAMMU, Nov 22: Alexander Memorial Higher Secondary School, Jammu hosted an Inter-School “Dogri Group Song Competition” under the aegis of Youth Talent Search (a forum of schools of Jammu) in the open air auditorium of the school.
Esther William, Principal of the host school, received the guests, learned Judges, the participants and their escort teachers. The adjudicators for the competition were Ravi Sharma, retired Music Professor and Kamal Sharma, retired DySP, Music Composer, Director, Former Cultural Officer.
The participating schools included New Era Environmental School, Circular Road, Jammu; Bikram Memorial School, Bishnah; SD Tarapuri Public School, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu; Lawrence Public School, Panjtirthi; Lawrence Public School, Sidhra; JK Montessori School, Tirath Nagar, Jammu; Bhagwati Haqiqat Memorial Public High School, Barnai; Humanity Public School, Bari Brahmana and Alexander Memorial Higher Secondary School, Jammu.
JK Montessori School, Tirath Nagar, Jammu claimed 1st position, while the second and third position was bagged by SD Tarapuri Public School, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu and Lawrence Public School, Panjtirthi.
